Guide to Replica Watches
I strongly encourage you to read the write ups and reviews on the site to find out more about specific models thatinterest you. There are so many details, pluses and minuses in each replica watch that it would be very hard to discuss them all here in one guide.
I will try to touch on a few points through out this guide, but the most important point remains. Quality dealer always equals quality watch.
The problems is the dealer, not the replica.
The most crucial part of making any purchase is finding the best place to do so. This rule applies times a hundred in the replica world.
This is not only because in most cases before purchasing you must rely soley on the dealers description of the watch and his pictures which may or may not be the actual pictures of the watch, but mainly because the watches are very complex and there is not a "standard" factory producing them. This means a free for all, mass production and little or no quality control at all. And so it is mainly up to the dealer who sells the watch to you to insure the quality of the watch he passes on is not below standard.
People often think that the messure of trustworthy the dealer is, is how well they respond to emails... Yes, comunication is a very important virtue in the online business but does not constitute a reliable seller. Remember these people scam others for a living, they will answer your emails until they have your money.
I have seen replica dealers claim the most redicoulous things while describing their watches. They vary from using a 904L steel on their replicas (a steel only Rolex uses to manufacture their watches) to saying things like "Pictures may differ from actual product, actual products look much nicer!" to cover their ass.
In short replica dealers will do pretty much anything to get you to send over the cash.
And once you do it is very hard to get it back.
Credit Cards
Most people think that if they pay with a credit card for a product they are 100% covered and out of harms way. This unfortunately is not true.
I have come across instances where payments where credit card payments where processed in Russia or China and the credit card company could not retrieve the money for the customer.
What about paying for a swiss replica and receiving complete junk?
It is extremely hard to claim that the quality of the counterfeit watch you ordered does not match the description of the seller.
True, you might have paid $700 for a watch which on the streets of Bangkok costs $5 but your credit card company will tell you that they can't investigate that.
A different story is when a replica does not arrive at all. Here one can inform their credid card of a failure to deliver on the part of the dealer. Depending on the credit card used and the time elapsed between the purchase and the claim there are chances of revoking the payment and returning the money to the client. But here again our dealers found out ways to cling to their "hardly" stolen money. The techniques go on and on. Some of them write to the customers that the watch was seized by customs and they have to send another one, that the model you ordered just ran out of stock and they are waiting for it to come it, that they are verifying your payment against fraud, that its a chinease holiday and nothing is working, and any and all cominations of the above. Their creativity knows no boundries. Of course they only do this to stall time and perspone the credid card claims.
Now a days most dealers do not steal the money and run. They chose the less profitable and more "legal" route of providing the client with junk istead of being exposed to legal persecution.
Western Union
There probobaly has not been more exploited for of payment. It from the start offers 0% customer protection and can only be compared to giving money to someone on the street. Here again one can ask himself how does somone use a service meant to send money to RELATIVES as a form of payment. This just illustrates how scammers perfected the technique of clouding peoples minds and getting them to do irretional things they normally would not have done.
People will justify anything whe they really want something, not only a replica watch.
